I mean they have barely even qualified for most major national tournaments like the euros and world cups let alone coming close to win them, but for quite a rich country surrounded by good footballing nations like germany,france and italy, you would think they could learn a thing or 2 about playing football.

i know they concerntrate all their efforts on giving europeans great skiing holidays and making us fat with chocolates but seriously get a grip. Even their Footballing league is a complete Joke. Basel are Ok, Zurich are europa standard/ and teams with names Like Grasshoppers and YoungBoys, you can really take them as a very tragic joke that we should all laugh at.

Im swiss and I agree. The thing is we only have 7-8m people living here so its hard to compare the talent with that of our surrounding countries. The league is terribad, i try to ignore it.
At least basel always plays good against bpl teams (and chokes against teams like ludo). And shaqiri is a beast.
