These figures may be slightly off but per Wikipedia I have ronaldo games for clubs:

196 Manchester united
171 Real Madrid

In those games ronaldo has scored 3 hattricks for Manchester United and 26 hattricks for Real Madrid.

Unless ronaldo gained super powers overnight then you cannot deny these figures show how much of a joke of a league he is playing in . IMO Manchester United ronaldo was better than Real Madrid ronaldo too!

Even if the Wikipedia facts are off I'm sure you get my point.

two reasons...

1. Ronnie played @ United age 19-24; his developing years. He didn't score shit when he was 19, 20, 21, 22 ( but still played many games) and if you look at his last two years at United he scored fairly similar to how he's been scoring at Madrid year after year.

2. In his United days he actually was more of a winger, much less shots on target way more dribbles and tricks instead of becoming the deadly goal machine that Real Madrid made him. (Let's face it, he's a pure striker on all but paper)

He scored ~ 120 goals for United but 270 goals for Real Madrid, yet if you google a Ronaldo 'goals and tricks' montage I bet you half, if not more than half of those goals will be from his United days, even though his United goals only represent less than 1/3 (120-130 out of around 410)

Place a 25-29 year old Ronaldo back in a United jersey and I'm sure he would score more or less the same amount of goals as he did for Madrid ^^

-----------------

With that said I'm not entirely disagreeing with you, its easier to score 30+ goals a season in la liga than it is in EPL...

If ronaldo could score the same for united as Madrid I would eat my hat.

That would pretty much treble Alan shearers record ..

Don't get me wrong IMO la liga has the best two or three players in the world In it (Suarez ronaldo ) but do formations actually use defenders ? These goal scoring statistics are just ridiculous

true, at united he played way more on the wing, now he is pretty much a striker only

op has a point though
typical lol liga trash teams are not much of a challenge compared to the premier league where lower teams are better and try much harder

the defenses are more tough as well, so these stats are not a suprise

he did hit 42 in 49 in the latter stages of his man utd career before he moved to real, that's when he was pretty much the player we've seen non stop for his whole madrid career.

It is partly due to the weakness of the league but... no one else is achieving these stats, and he's breaking all-time records too, in Champions League and Spain, so it is also partly the player lol

oh please EPL are really horrible atm

Just look at liverpool scoring over 100 goals with a medicore team last season

Real Madrid are scoring tons of goals in any tournament right now including CL

Big statement but i think Suarez will out score ronaldo when he's back from suspension.

Also if I was a la liga fan I would get sick of seeing ronaldo scoring hattricks every week.. It's meant to be a challenge to score one and it just seems like most teams in that division don't put the effort in vs barca or real
