He`s too big, too static, too individualistic.

Any of immobile/berardi/rossi/zaza should be way over him in the pecking order.

Also, conte stated that he does not see a 3 man midfield consisting of de rossi, pirlo and verratti.

As a direct consequence pirlo and verratti fight for first team, as de rossi plays anchor. Aka verratti gets the bench.

Agree with everything you said except the part about Pirlo.

I know Pirlo is Pirlo but imo it's time for him to start on the bench. Judging from the World Cup he's become a shadow of himself.

Verratti has proven that he can work hard offensively and more importantly, defensively. Also Verratti has the vision to make Pirlo's absence from the starting 11 not missed too much.

I know Balotelli is probably the biggest liability in football today, but I'd play him for shits and giggles anyway
