There haven't really been any big surprises in the ko stages

I'm pretty sure that many, many people have also predicted correctly all of the knockout games

Im still pretty impressed tho, that argentine vs holland. Like how is that team even in the world cup final man? Im all in on germany lol. Unless cortana tells me otherwise.

and its not in that article but it did predict argentine would win over holland. Like common.

meh, Netherlands started off at their peak and slowly but surely went down hill from there; argentina has been the opposite (although they haven't impressed yet), so I could kind of see it coming

I placed a bet on argentina winning the trophy during the first ko stage; and on a germany-argentina final during the quarterfinals

I won't win it though if Germany plays like they did against Brazil

what?! i'm pretty sure no one in this forum got anywhere close to predicting the round of 16 teams. and there WERE some upsets (costa rica beating italy and uruguay, i'm pretty sure almost no one got this group right - not only in this forum. but also ecuador tying france, chile beating spain, usa beating ghana...)

I had some friends that betted argentina would win the wc(before it started).
But at this point, im not impressed. Not in any of there games have they showed anything that would make me belive they could win over holland or germany.
So just that the program preddicted that win, and then has 14 straight wins now. Its game-changing.

yea hes right:

"An artificially intelligent personal assistant developed by Microsoft has accurately predicted the winner of the last 13 World Cup games. If Cortana can extend the streak for three more matches she will have succeeded in correctly forecasting the entire last four stages of the tournament."

And its 14 now as i wrote, predicted that Argentina would win

and:

" “Further adjustments are made related to other factors which give one team advantages over another, such as home field (for Brazil) or proximity (South American teams), playing surface (hybrid grass), game-time weather conditions, and other such factors.

“In addition, data obtained from prediction markets allows us to tune the win/lose/tie probabilities due to the ‘wisdom of the crowds’ phenomenon captured by the people wagering on the outcomes.” "

So cool

KO stages are easy
Every favorite won outside of Dutch, right?
