Even though I disagree with some of his policies, Mújica is one of my favourite Latin American leaders because he lives a humble life, always speaks his mind and is honest/coherent with his ideals.

This time though he definetely didn't choose the right words to express his feelings... especially the whole facist bann thing, ridiculous.

We had an Uruguayan posting on this forum 4 years ago, Max_Speed was his name I think, I'd like to see his thoughts on the whole affair.

I don't understand how people can claim he cheated in 2010. There's no difference between what he did and when the last man makes a foul to prevent a goal.

He not only didn't do anything wrong there but he did the right thing he do. He took one for the team, even if it costed him missing a WC semifinals match.

It's not cheating, it's trading a goal for a red+pk. It's in fact the reason why pks were invented in the first place.

What Suarez did to Ghana is a crime. 11v11 Ghana won that game. They deserved to go through. Not Uruguay. I have a new despise for these people. Especially Jorge Ramos.
