the only reason mustafi, who had another horrific performance, was subbed out was that he injured himself! how can you leave a player on the pitch who's THAT bad?
why the fuck do you play a mediocre centre back from a mediocre club in a mediocre league as fullback in the first place, especially if you have proper fullbacks from a top bundesliga club on your bench? makes NO sense at all... it's just löw's ego, trying to justify the nomination of mustafi and trying to prove everybody wrong.

same for höwedes, he was almost as bad as mustafi- again. and götze on the "wing" was trying to break the world record for most useless and unsuccessful dribblings in a world cup match, also completely ignoring a wide open müller because he wanted to make his goal, missing as usual...

and what does the idiot löw do? shouts at his players from the sideline as if their horrible performance in completely new roles with completely ridiculous tactical instructions was their fault...


i'm happy for my boy schürrle, he had a good match and a lot of impact on the game but i can't help but feel we missed a unique opportunity here. going out against a team like algeria should have been enough to finally get rid of löw...
france will undoubtedly tear us apart but hey, it's another quarterfinal and löw did everything right, not his fault the players didn't perform, right? f*ck this guy, seriously...

Loew is the reason why i dont watch any ger games since 4 years and i dont care about it till he is gone

özil most certainly lost his touch, that's true. he tried some passes, they went directly to the opponent and then he didn't have the balls to try it again, missing many opportunities to create potentially dangerous situations. but then again, he's not a winger ffs. why would you play özil as winger? he's not good at that, we all know it.
and unlike götze he at least tried to make something happen. götzes evening: get the ball on the wing, try fancy dribbling, lose ball, watch algeria play a counter attack...

kroos was also not at his best tonight. and you know i'm a huge fan of this guy. but then again, he was robbed of his pass receivers on the wings. no fullbacks to play the ball to, no real wingers to challenge a defender try a cross (not that we had a striker to target with a cross in the first place)...

damn... there is so much wrong with this team... tonight we would have lost against any half decent team in the world to be honest and i am really sad we did not...
