1993 Super Bowl Buffalo vs Dallas
The Super Bowl was originally set to be held in Tempe Arizona, however due to a social activist movement it was moved to Pasadena California. This was based on legislation in Arizona that failed to recognize Martin Luther King day. The 2023 Super Bowl is also being held in Arizona, now there is a movement against legislation passed in Arizona that prevents transgender youth from participating in sporting events. (They’re calling for the hosting rights to be revoked from Arizona again)
