It's cool, as long as they have a contact sport to focus on all the genocide gets pushed to the back burner.

Kind of a neat history, with U.S. military families bringing the sport to Germany, and then seeing it catch on somewhat. I remember Germany dominated the briefly lived NFL euro league

Germany had 4 of 6 teams at the end of NFL Europe IIRC.

I would rate foreign market interest as:

1.) Germany
2.) Mexico
3.) Canada
4.) UK

Honestly the response to the German game has me thinking they need priority for a foreign franchise. How awesome would it be if football was a worldwide sport?

got you!

i had my first contact with NFL like 10 years ago, superbowl when ravens beat 49ers.. but season after i started watching also regular season games and somehow liked the eagles since then... was a hard time but seems like time is changing with all the packer/patriots/ravens supporter of my friends
i really love how like almost none game is boring, always shit can happen compared to other sports like soccer (which i also do like)

the popularity is increasing in germany since 4-5 years as its streamed on tv every sunday and accessable for everyone.

and i am honest fascinated how different fans are celebrating together.. i wonder how this is in the states?
coming from soccer that's something not going in my head - different fans sitting next to each other... as in some european soccer the fans of both teams are getting divided by police as the fans are going full crazy.. sad thing

I dont think a foreign franchise will work unless its in canada/mexico. Certainly nothing overseas. The travel would be hell. The only way i could MAYBE see it working is if they were always the home team and each week a new team came to play them, but what division would they part of, and im sure that the other teams in that division having to travel overseas twice a year wouldnt be too happy.

Glad you enjoyed

International series is always a brilliant Superbowl like atmosphere

All fans, regardless of team, are thankful to have the sport live in front of them and all the locations host really well

Was a good game too :D
