Every day from August 11 to September 11, one team will be posted for bidding per day.
All 2020 and older accounts that are non-welcher/blacklisted can participate as long as they follow the rules below.



Duration
All auctions will end at 9pm EST on the day listed above. Auction threads will be posted roughly 24 hours in advance of their end time. If a post is time-stamped at/after 9:01pm EST, then it is too late.
However, if a bid is placed in the final 30 minutes of the auction, then the auction will be extended 30 minutes until there is no bid for a solid 30 minutes. This helps prevent auction sniping.

Bidding
All bids must be a minimum of 100 fg more than the previous bid.
All bids must be posted in-thread.
You cannot retract a bid.
You cannot bid an amount of fg greater than the amount you currently possess, nor can you place bets elsewhere with fg you are bidding. This is overbidding. All overbids will be ignored, you will be banned from participating in all future auctions, and you will be welcher-tagged.
Edited posts/bids will be ignored except for the following: if you make a false bid in the 30 minutes before an auction ends and then edit it after 9pm EST, you will be banned. Just don't edit your posts, guys.

Winning
Whoever has the highest bid at the end of the auction wins the team.
Once you win an auction, you have 24 hours to send your fg to me. If you do not pay for a team that you win, then you will be banned from participating in all future auctions, and you will be welcher tagged. The team will be re-auctioned if the winner does not pay.
You may bid on and win as many teams as you like, but you cannot own more than 3 teams. You can donate teams to other people at any time, such as if you win a 4th team. You can own fractions of a team, so you could own half of 6 teams, for example.
If you give/sell a team to someone else, please confirm the transaction in this thread.
Welcher/Blacklisted users cannot win or own teams, and their bids will be ignored.
If the owner of a team becomes welcher-tagged, then that person will be stripped of their rights to own their team(s). The fg that was paid for their team(s) will be considered a donation to the pot, and their team(s) will be re-auctioned.

Payouts
Payouts are as follows:
• SB Winner: 69% of the pot
• SB Loser: 20% of the pot
• WC Berth Winners: 1% of the pot for each of the six teams
• #1 Overall Pick: 5% of the pot (if it's a traded pick, it goes to the team who originally owned the pick)

Changes:

1) Welched teams will be re-auctioned. Under the old rules, the next-highest bidder could have the team at their bid. However, this created an issue: two people could team up by having person A bid 1 fg and then having person B bid a ton and then deliberately welch, giving person A the right to win for 1fg.

2) I will mediate the initial bids, so send your fg to me. Then, after all of the teams have been sold, I will be giving the fg to other meds to hold. Under the old system, I could not track welchers because I was not mediating.
