If you dont have the tools to be a legit franchise QB, regardless of how bad/good your receivers are, it wont work out.

Weeden is 28. I am not saying he is/will be this good, but are you telling me that because Brees is 33, that he shouldnt have gotten another contract? If Weeden pans out he could play a solid 7-10 years in the league.
