What's your thoughts?

I think it should be kept in

#1 - not every team has the talent to be able to execute it
#2 - it's not unstoppable, it simply requires better defensive execution of the play
#3 - those calling for a ban are proving their testicle are feeble and mincy

I'd be more for it if defenses were allowed to do similar things/ not flagged for creative attempts, jumping over teammates etc.

Mark Schlereth on the defensive Tush Push
Speaking on a February 26 edition of the “Rich Eisen Show,” NFL expert and former Broncos veteran Mark Schlereth recalled doing one to attempt to defend against an extra point attempt.

He added: “I was a member of the Washington Redskins back in the day, where we would be on PAT field goal block, and we would actually line up. We had a guy by the name of Mike Tice, great tight end. So Mike was a 6’7″ guy.”

“I would line up behind him on PAT field goal block. We get in the A gap, and my job was to shove him through the A gap in hopes that he might block the extra point or the field goal. And the NFL banned that,” he said.

Rich Eisen had Lavonte David on and raised a good point, a LB isn't allowed to push a DL but a monster like Saquon is allowed to push Hurts 2 yards forward?

Yah it's the same thing Mark S said.

It shouldn’t be a one-sided argument.
You can’t give the offense the ability to do something and not the defense the same ability.

I guess it's more of the offense will always know where the balls going, the defense HAS to really send no other option but to give into that commitment of the tush push. I'd say, if you were to eliminate most defenses rule book/ more forgiving on quality of sack, etc, if the offense lined up for a tush push, for the one play only, I'd be all for it. I guess the only real thing to make it fair would be declaring it before the play, unable to switch at the line, like the onside kick this past year. Tug of push everything 4th down . Lol I mean with the eagles it doesn't matter anyways, it's not like Saquons not getting the yard or two anyways.

As lame as it is, after seeing Buffalo fail multiple times in big moments, keep it
Copycat cat league, if it was that easy, all 32 would do it

I'm so over the NFL.

Pathetic pussy rules one year after the other. They're talking about moving kick return to the 35 too, to incentivise more teams to put the ball in play, making more returns happen. WHICH IS WHAT THEY DIDN'T WANT A FEW YEARS AGO?

Fucking braindead honestly, we will have flag football within the decade
