Cops clearly overreacted, but I don't get why it's so hard to just keep your window down, be polite, and comply with their orders. Nobody likes getting pulled over and dealing with cops, but being difficult with them is just going to make things more painful for you.

How was it overreacting? If hill pulls out a gun and opens fire you’d all be saying “should’ve been more aggressive”. Like what are the officers supposed to do with someone clearly hostile towards them that isn’t following a single order of theirs or speaking with them?

Not to mention that ridiculous tint and I can only imagine the reason he was pulled over in the first place being one that should have his license revoked

Yeah that’s not an overreaction. They don’t care who you are, and being the Miami Dolphins WR1 doesn’t make him above the law, nor does having a nice car. The window rolled down is for the officers safety, especially with that tint. All he had to do was roll down his window and not act like a rich snob.

Yeah ok after watching it again I'd say it was an appropriate response. Cop asked him to roll the window down, and instead of doing so he keeps it rolled up and grabs his phone to call his agent. At that point you have no idea what he's reaching for and the use of force is justified.

Kinda felt like they were a bit rough with him when I first saw it, but if you act like an asshole to the cops that's what you get.

The public coming to his defense instantly without seeing a full video because "omg it's a black man being arrested. It must be racism" is quite sad. When will it stop?

If you live in the USA probably doesn't seem excessive or unreasonable.
If you live in a civilised country it appears as absolutely barbaric behaviour from both sides.




It's kind of sad how indoctrinated the average American is regarding acceptance of police brutality as normal and necessary.
