As a head coach, would you rather have a guaranteed 2 yard sack or a guaranteed 2 yard offensive play? To be used at any point in a game.

yea i think id go defensive sack as well. the guaranteed 2yd offensive would be for first down or touchdown and if I don’t trust my offense on 2 yards… idk

seems like the sack would be more useful, to end a drive or potentially get a safety and the ball back. Pete Carroll might’ve used that offensive one, though. seems defensive would also counter that 2yd offensive point i made about trusting your guys for 2..: a guaranteed sack vs Lamar Jackson would be invaluable

Yep thank you for elaborating. I’m thinking the defensive sack puts things in your control that aren’t in your control normally whereas the two yards you could technically still take control and just get it yourself

For me, its
