The USFL and XFL merged into the UFL: United Football League

Kickoff March 30th, 2024

League will contain 8 teams:

USFL CONFERENCE

Birmingham Stallions
Houston Roughnecks
Memphis Showboats
Michigan Panthers

XFL CONFERENCE

Arlington Renegades
D.C. Defenders
San Antonio Brahmas
St. Louis Battlehawks

Meh, I'm a little disappointed. Originally was rumored for 12 teams, which would've peaked my interest further. Almost half the league is teams from Texas...

and always crave more football right after the Superbowl...so the march 30th start is mehhh to me too.

Glad the Battlehawks, and "beer snake" DC Defenders made the cut tho.

I will be running my usual JSP spring league football, where 8 people just sign up for X amount of FG and it gets thrown in a random list generator to see who gets what team.
You don't do anything all season other than hope your team wins it all. I will be posting sign ups during the NFL Playoffs/Superbowl week since March in this section is a little dead.

I am also thinking about just incorporating your buyin's with Championship Squares (X amount goes to winner and possibly /2nd/last place and then a smaller x amount goes into the championship game squares)

That way everything is taken care of and everyone who signed up has something to look forward to at the end regardless if they've won.

If you'd like to me to contact you when the sign ups start, just post your interest here... and if anyone has any suggestions on buy ins, let me know. Was thinking about hosting 2/3 leagues... a 2k/2500 one / 500fg one. Possibly a 250fg one as well.

Again, I'll be hosting the sign ups at the end of this month/ early feb until filled for March... since this is the only thing that goes on here in the offseason.
