i think consensus is #2 mich, #3 wash, and #4 fsu all won conf champs and “deserve” to make playoffs… that being said it leaves one spot for debate, which is why the system needs to expand. GA was #1 overall most of the season and two time defending champs so argument will be made for them. Alabama been in there like swimwear last decade and just beat GA. ofc bama lost to Texas but they haven’t been as dominant recently so does that hurt them? prob. if it’s a committee who (basically) chooses last spot after 1-3 then someone getting robbed

That's not even on my mind, but I'd be irate of that's the case.

There is a case for several teams , but this is the year where the the selection clowns can make it right.

#4 is going to be hard to fill, you've got 4 teams that are 11-1. Texas and Bama both won the championship game, Texas beat Bama, Bama beat GA, and Texas lost to Oklahoma.

Bama lost in week 2 but finished undefeated, GA didn't lose until the championship game, OSU only loss came by Michigan, and UT loss came from 12th ranked Oklahoma.

I think it comes down to Bama or OSU.
