Jets were set up to pull off the Rams / TB formula. It looks like a freak accident, usually how it is with Achilles - just the wrong angle and pressure at just the wrong moment. He wasn't even trying to cut, just twisted it awkwardly. It looked like any other QB takedown.

Saying the Jets didn't have high expectations is silly. They were superbowl contenders with Rogers and that division was going to be hotly contested between Bills/Miami/Jets.
