28 players have entered the transfer portal since he became hc... curious to look into this deeper and see what's going on.
Anyone else find this interesting, or just whatever it's college.

The stands will be full this season compared to like 30% attendance last year. He knows football and the kids buy in to his system, i think the skys the limit for what he can do there.

he told them to join the portal because they wouldnt be getting reps there

Sanders, who told players to "hop in that portal" at his first team meeting after being hired in early December, has been open about his plans to upgrade the team's talent level following a 1-11 season in 2022.
Colorado spent most of the first transfer portal window adding notable players, including several who followed Sanders from Jackson State

Lincoln Riley did the same thing at usc as far as overhauling the roster when he took over. It’s the transfer portal era

i mean recruiting is a big part of ncaaf and after a 1 win season he doesn't have to do much so even if you look at it as overhauling he's got a couple years to bring in guys and build a team. i have no idea his coaching style and who he's bringing in but again with ticket sales from his general fame alone no ones gonna care too much. what i wonder is similar to the thread question: is he right for Colorado? for now the $ and in the next couple seasons the record will dictate how much attitude he can get away flaunting. im a buffs fan and i don't really like him and don't want some ghetto program but if puts together talent and can coach them up right im open to letting the circus come stay in town!
