Fuck New England. So many picks show NE having owned them multiple times. I can’t believe these gms continue to allow belicheat to punk them all.

I think Seattle got a decent deal out of NE

Overall it seems like a solid draft. We hit most of our needs, except TE.

I think the only way i'd be happier with our draft is if we traded up for Hockerson or maybe Fant but we knew BB wouldnt do that, too bold a move for him. I'm very happy how we did. I heard that Winovich guy we got could be a real steal from multiple sources.

Yep, i'm not mad at all with that pick. I'm soooo relieved we didn't reach on a QB in first.

Ive heard a lot of good things about him the only knock on him seems to be he's a little slow (from what ive heard, havent seen any tape/film/highlights except for what was shown on draft night on ABC).

I hope I'm dead wrong but I can't help but look at N'Keal Harry and think of Aaron Dobson.

The pre-draft measurables actually favored Dobson, he is an inch taller and was faster. They both came from not big football powerhouses, N'Keal from Arizona State and Dobson from Marshall. I'd probably give N'Keal the advantage there, off the top of my head I'd guess the Arizona State program is a lot better probably, although neither are great.

Then I went and listened to what they were saying about Dobson when we made that pick... great hands, can get over the top, can run great routes. All the same things they're saying about N'Keal.

I hope I'm dead wrong and that this works out but I can't help but make the comparison.

When I watched Aaron Dobson highlights coming out of college I was super hyped about the prospect of an all star wide receiver who was going to make plays all over the field, but with N'Keal Harry I look at it as almost a SAFE pick, something not very risky. It looks like he's great at contesting catches in space, and he just sounds like he's ready to work.

But yes I do hope you are wrong as well

According to ESPN's Field Yates, Jacob Hollister has been traded to the Seahawks for a conditional 2020 seventh-round pick.

Kind of weird that the Seahawks would give up anything to get him lol, also kind of weird the Pats trade him seeing they're definitely thin there.

I have pretty high hopes for ASJ though.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I think N'Keal definitely looks a lot safer and he was picked like 20 picks higher than Dobson so it definitely speaks to his value, but with our track record with receivers I can't help but think about worst case scenario.

I actually think N'Keal easily could be the best receiver in the class, I liked Hollywood Brown a lot but I think speedsters like him don't always translate at an NFL level of physicality. Also think A.J. Brown would've been a nice grab especially at where he ended up going, but he had a better situation in college playing with a better QB in Jordan Ta'amu and he also played beside DK Metcalf, whose overrated, but it definitely helped open his game up.
