What position do you guys want to draft (or what types of trades do you want to potentially see) now that the big names are out of FA?

I’d like to see 1st round go to defense, like DL or LB, then I believe we have a 2nd and two 3rds? 2nd we should get an OL or TE. 3rd round is a good place to bust on another WR- and id like to see a CB/S early on too.

But we will probably just go for value picks in the early rounds. Not really tied to our needs but best talent left on the board.

I domt think we need lb. Van noy played great, hightower is obv amazing, roberts is still here and jawhaun bentley (spelling?) Shouls be healthy this year

DL could use improvement.

Iirc we have two 2nds, id like to see an early play on a wr with a high floor we need some serious help in the talent department there ESPECIALLY if Gordon's reinstatement gets denied

Im not sure about TE either.. we just traded for lacosse and we still have Izzo who should be productive at least a little. Obv gronk if he plays

DL/WR/CB/OL/QB/Kicker(esp if we dont being back gostkowski) would all be things id like to see

OL/DL/LB/TE/WR maybe CB/S

i hate the people saying we need to draft a QB in the first few rounds... we 100% don't.

not sure how that's relevant as both those players are HoFers, but Edelman has as many 1k yard seasons (2) and as many 100 reception (1) seasons as Thielen (yes edelman's been in the league a lot longer, don't need to tell me)... Edelman also is a beast in the playoffs and is a monster in the return game... Edelman > Thielen right now. Let's see what thielen does the next few years before we anoint him the GoaT white WR.

This.

We need to start developing someone behind Brady. We dont have anyone competent enough to run our offense should he be injured, or should he decline further.

I dont follow college, so I have no idea how the QB class looks this year, but I'd love for us to start grooming someone immediately.

He'd be a solid fit imo. Hopefully he can get two years behind Brady to learn the system and build some confidence at the NFL level, but I'm all for it as long as we're not kneecapping ourself to get him.
