Wilfork was 32 or so when the patriots decided to move on from him, Slater will be 34 playing for the Patriots, but I get your point. I'm sure BB loves Bolden, but one of Bill's favorite players? :blink: I would never compare Brandon Bolden to Matthew Slater or Vince Wilfork lol.

Bolden has had such an important role in special teams for us, and Bill LOVES his special teams players

What do you think of the Bortles talk? Apparently way back when we would've taken him over Jimmy G in the draft. We could sign him for almost nothing (809k) and he'd obv be a backup.

Bortles usually plays well against us. He's fairly mobile/can run. I just am not sure how he is as a leader. He's probably a little better than Brian Hoyer (not saying much) all depends on the price and terms for the deal.

He would instantly improve our offense. He's still elite at breaking tackles and one of the best at YAC.
