Slater's 2019 option picked up, he'll get a $400,000 roster bonus. Slater is one of those lifer Patriots IMO, don't see him playing anywhere else after NE.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a year or two somewhere else at the very end of his career, but I would love to see him never play anywhere else. He's a Belichickian player through and through.

I dont mmean that i think it's likely - I just wouldnt count anything out. The NFL is random as hell. Look at Bolden as a prime example, probably one of Bill's favorite players. Wilfork was with us for like what 11 years?

The NFL is a business and you never know what could happen
