Predictions for tonight's game?

Matt Ryan throws 2 Interceptions and the Eagles force a fumble and take it for a TD.

I think it's a shootout, but the Eagles come out on top by 7.

Pretty spot on prediction so far.

Good Game. Always Take a W. Especially for this team over the past couple of years.

Positives:

-Mostly impressed by our run defense, which no one seems to be talking about in the media..... its all about how the eagles fucked up but that game shouldn't have even been close.

-Pass rush was there even though we didn't get any sacks and it was against a good OL imo. 3rd most pressures in the league so far. and that is coming from a atl team? what?

-No truly big plays Sam dumped the ball off all night. Nothing beyond 25 yards.

-Allen looked good at FS and I don't mean the INT at the end there either. He was a good tackler and ran to the ball all night and was actually some what an enforcer who had a few punishing hits.

-OL looked okay held up during play action and gave matt some time to throw deep. Run game was also better but as a group they need to improve but for last night they looked serviceable. Maybe Jake long comes in and takes a spot and helps us even more or he just becomes a great backup and a swing tackle we shall see.

-Coaching we game planned for them really well. Could easily see it early before Philly had to abandon their run game.

-Paul balled out. that 3rd down stop wooooooooooooooooooooooahh thank god.

-Tevin coleman/ Freeman looked solid.

-Def won us the game.

Points we can improve:

- Matt Ryan... off night should have thrown the ball slightly higher and that's a TD for white and we go in the locker room 27-3. also other int just bad decision don't think he even saw the guy. another one is when he had Freeman and under threw him even though I will say that was a good defense play right there cause the LB lunged out just enough to block the ball but just a little bit more air and Freeman is doing the Dirty Bird Dance in the End-zone.

- Tackling in space well more like covering backs out of the back field (looking at you biermann pls god come back Brooks Reed). That is what hurt us the most last night I would say. I will say this though Biermann jumping over the o-line and causing pressure on the kicker when he missed the field goal may have won us the game but hard to tell.

- Penalties. so many holding calls on our Wrs but the game in general was a flag fest for both sides.

-Have to finish teams. if we go up 27-3 there we probably break their willingness to fight. Can't be like the Atlanta teams of the old. Keep the pedal to the floor and blow teams out when you have the chance too. Don't give them a shot to come back.

Oline looked better than what I was expecting tbh. Happy to be bringin in Jake Long in for depth since god knows we'll have injuries on there.

Highlight of the game outside of Julio is easily Coleman... he looked great and I am excited to see him progress further.

Defense looked like a new team first half and I was all giddy... then they looked like the team of the last couple years the second half.

The bright side of that is that not all teams have that fast paced tempo so hopefully our defense will play better throughout an entire game moving forward.

I am liking what I am seeing, but am still nervous about whether we turn it around this year or not. This week will be a good matchup I think.. we could use the 2-0 momentum going into dallas.

Meh, I still Think The D performed well in the second half for what they were given. 3rd quarter short field because of Int easy few plays into the end-zone.. then i Think Philly had a 17 play drive at one point.. they earned that but we also shot ourselfs in the foot a few times with penalties. Eagles just looked at our biggest weakness which imo is

covering backs out of the back field and protecting the edge. Chip would literally run the ball when we had our pass rushers in and then would throw it when we had our run stuffers in just good play calling by him. But tbh it was all short to intermediate routes. 5,3,6,8,4,12,2,7 yards at a time. and i told a friend before the game if we wanted to win

then we had to Tackle in space and for the most part we did that with their wr's their backs on the other hand beat Beirman like a drum.


Overall I am quietly optimistic about this team. I think Vereen is going to really hurt us this Sunday and it will be another nail bitter but I think we can win. Expect Beastlyyyyy to have a few sacks this game against Flowers.

Ryan was pressured by the Eagles on just three of his 37 dropbacks (lowest percentage in the league).


Only one game but at least it shows our o line improved.

that and we got the ball out quickly.


Another note. Media usually no one talks about us but cool to get some attention.
