Case Keenum can be taught by Gary Kubiak. He is probably licking his chops with another young quarterback to teach. I actually like Keenum better than Yates. I thought we'd use a 6th-round pick on him. But they must have chanced that he'd go undrafted. Very good signing.

Keenum is going to prove all the doubters wrong. System QB, weak arm, blah, blah, blah... Texans have a great run game and short-passing game that works. Quick screen passes, with roll outs and bootlegs being essential. They can take advantage of what Keenum does best. Kubiak will get the best out of him like he did with Yates last season.

But all that said: Please stay healthy Matt Schaub! LOL. At the end of the day Schaub's accuracy is as good as any in the NFL.

I can already see Case Keenum hooking up with fellow rookie Keshawn Martin on a 15-yard slant route that he takes 70 yards to the house. We'll probably see it in the pre-season anyways. LOL

Kubiak said in his private workout with Keenum that the QB made every throw, was a "sponge" and is excited to sign him and to work with him.

I'm also excited. Keenum is the real deal. Fuck the nay sayers. Texans have a Super Bowl contender this upcoming season. But only if the big guns stay healthy on offense - Schaub, Andre, Foster and Daniels. One full quarter of playing together in 2011 isn't going to get it done. The defense is going to be dominating. And that's crazy to say considering we lost Mario and DeMeco but they're even better on defense right now than they were last year.

My favorite #Texans #UDFA signings with a shot at the 53: WR Jones, QB Keenum, NT Fangupo, RB Meggett, TE Brock and LB Loiseau. Look 'em up.

Signed Dwight Jones. Signed a real NT from BYU, Fangupo. 6'1", 323 LBs. I watched him when I went to the Texas vs BYU game in Austin, this dude is the real deal. Logan Brock played with RGIII in HS, although he really doesn't have good stats when he was at TCU.

Case Keenum, QB, Houston
Jason Ford, RB/FB, Illinois
Davin Meggett, RB, Maryland
Jonathan Grimes, RB, William & Mary
Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina
Mario Louis, WR, Grambling State
Jerrell Jackson, WR, Missouri
Logan Brock, TE, TCU
Nate Menkin, OT, Mary Hardin-Baylor
Cody White, OT, Illinois ST

Desmond Marrow, FS, Toledo
Shawn Loiseau, LB, Merrimack
Delano Johnson, LB, Bowie State
DJ Bryant, DE, James Madison
Hebron Fangupo, DT BYU
Tracy Robertson, DT, Baylor
David Hunter, DT, Houston

Meggett has potential to be a solid 3DRB

i could see him making your team. Either way, he is a good guy to pick up.

at MD he was often surrounded by a shit cast. I think it affected his draft potential greatly.

Texans added some tough and crazy guys in this draft. Players with off-the-field baggage. Owner Bob McNair no longer has that strict "good guy" only policy for players that he had from 2002 to 2010. Houston would have passed on those guys in the past. A big reason they were seen as a soft team that never made the playoffs.

I'm already evisioning an all-out brawl and scrimmage fight between Brandon Brooks and Shawn Loiseau in the 105-degree hot summer sun. Those two guys want to fight you every play. You want crazy football players who have that killer mentality but the Texans may have crossed a fine line in this draft.

Bradie James is old and Darryl Sharpton is injury-prone. Sean Loiseau needs to work hard and who knows what can happen. Nobody said replacing DeMeco Ryans had to be done with an equally soft-spoken Christian who's a great leader on and off the field. You can still be a great inside linebacker and a nutcase at the same time. All I care about are wins.

But this guy better clean up some of what he says. I don't want him to get suspended for typing stupid shit on Twitter like that Houston Dynamo player did a few months ago. When you have no filter you can get yourself in trouble via social media.
