wonder if this is true:

According to Chris Simms on Monday's PMT Live, the Patriots made an effort to trade for Odell Beckham Jr. "all last offseason," and that was part of the reason why the Giants didn't eventually trade him at all.

"The New England Patriots were trying to get Odell Beckham Jr. all last offseason," he said. "That didn't work out, and I think the Giants got cold feet and were like, 'Wait, New England wants him? Uh oh, maybe he is better than we thought. Maybe we should just keep him on our own instead of it being thrown in our face and him going to win a Super Bowl with the Pats.'"

Whole heartedly agree. It’s easier to fix going on a party boat with justin bieber before important games and kicking nets on the sideline than it is to deal with ABs antics.

Obj in Ne would be amazing! quite literally all of my irl football buddies (giants fans in CT) would lose their shit.

Schefter later asked him if there's a better pass protector in the league right now, and [Trent] Brown simply said, "No sir."

aaaaaaaaaaaand he's gone

OBJ in New England would be good but i feel like he's a better option for a strong armed gunslinger. Even for Seahawks wouldn't like him because they don't have the system where they just let it rip

Vouch. GB could use more help in the passing game and he'd destroy with Rodgers throwing to him. NO would also be a great fit, but they don't need him, or maybe Indi now that Luck looks like he's back to form

OBJ in IND would be so fun to watch. Omg.

Honestly though, Giants just need to move on from Eli. They have a very Steelers-esque potential with OBJ/Saquon (AB/Bell) if they can get a QB.

Gotta love this:

The Patriots are tied with four other teams for the second-easiest 2019 schedule, based on opponents' combined win percentage from the 2018 campaign. New England's 2019 opponents had a 2018 win percentage of just .473, according to John Breech of CBS Sports. Only the Washington Redskins have an easier 2019 schedule.

Never been a big fan of strength of schedule, i believe we were in the more difficult end of the spectrum last year. Taken from an article on PatsPulpit:

As can be seen right away, the Patriots — who finished the 2018 season with an 11-5 record, a resulting win percentage of .688 and the second seed in the AFC — will face five of last year’s playoff teams this season: the Kansas City Chiefs (AFC seed #1), Houston Texans (AFC #3), Baltimore Ravens (AFC #4) and Dallas Cowboys (NFC #4) because they all won their respective divisions, and the Philadelphia Eagles who earned one of the NFC’s wild card spots as the conference’s sixth seed.
