Spencer, Allen, and Tuck are all too old. Even Bennett, at 28, is getting a bit old for what we'll be able to use--we won't be a contender for 2 years minimum...no point in going out and spending on FA's we'll never get to use to the fullest. Raji isn't going anywhere, and I doubt that Hardy and Johnson will be either--they're both on successful franchises that are likely willing to pay them to stay. If Johnson or Hardy do reach the FA market, I'd be willing to pay them.
I don't view DE as one of our biggest needs, but when you're in as dire straights as we are you draft the most talented players at your draft spot. If we can get the top OT, I'd take him. If we can get Bridgewater (I'm not sold on the scrambling QB thing, I'd rather have a pocket passer), I'd take him. After that, you start looking for the most skilled player in the draft at that point, and I don't think there's any denying that Barr and Clowney fit that bill. If the organization decides they won't want Barr/Clowney, I would support trading back to attempt to get a WR at a more reasonable spot and picking up another 2nd/3rd round pick.
