Here's who the experts have the Patriots selecting at No. 32 overall in version 1.0 of our mock draft roundup.

NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah: QB Kyler Murray, Oklahoma
NFL Media's Bucky Brooks: QB Kyler Murray, Oklahoma
NFL Media's Lance Zierlein: DL Christian Wilkins, Clemson
ESPN's Mel Kiper: QB Daniel Jones, Duke
ESPN's Todd McShay: DT Gerald Willis III, Miami
CBS Sports' Pete Prisco: WR D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss
Walter Football: WR D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss
Bleacher Report's Matt Miller: TE T.J. Hockenson, Iowa

i don't want Kyler Murray anywhere friggen near the first round.

Have they ever guessed right of who the pats pick?

That's not the point lol, but i'm sure one of them has hit on the patriots first round picks in the past...

Would you take him in the first round? Huge gamble. I'd almost rather have Lamar Jackson for his size alone and that's saying something...

That's not saying much at all........ and most have Haskins >

patriots don't even need a QB this draft. Tom's still under contract and Kraft hinted at he could get an extension again.

Haha. When the family gets together to watch a game, we strictly refer to beverages as bruschis.

It's not just about his height, it's more so about his frame... He is fucking tiny. Not only is he short, but his frame is built like a 10th grader.

People had concerns about RG3's frame coming out, look what has happened. People had concern about Mariota's frame coming out, he's constantly injured. People concerned about Bridgewaters' frame coming out, obviously his knee got shredded, but people were still worried about if his size could hold up in the NFL. etc etc

Those guys were all 6'2+ and 210+... Murray will be lucky if he measures in at 5'10 and 185 pounds imo.

People are starting to lessen up on the height thing, but the lack of thickness in his frame is a real concern for if he'll be able to hold up against the hits he'll take in the NFL.

i keep hearing hes fairly stout for his height, so im not sure his frame is as much of an issue as some think. whoever drafts him will end up happy, he has the kind of physical talent that can take an average team and turn it into a serious contender.

5’10” 185lbs with an athletic build is still pretty slim. Even if he was extremely cut (shredded), it’s not too thicc. Also you wouldn’t want to be in the NFL and have such low body fat. I’m 6’ and have been anywhere from 175lbs to 200lbs depending on my fitness goals, so i would probably compare my max weight and height as similar to his current status. It’s still athletic, but not really anything you’d be comfortable absorbing hits from Aaron Donald.
