Welker was not great in Miami, he was virtually unknown in Miami. and of course he did well on Denver he had a one of the best QB's of all time (Peyton) throwing him the ball...

Welker possibly cost us a super bowl, I'll take edelman. More clutch and more likeable.

look at how many times Welker was targeted throughout the years though compare to Edelman. Welker's been targeted almost twice as much as Edelman; i.e. Welker had WAY more opportunities than Edelman to put up all those ridiculous #'s (Receptions/Yards). Welker was just a volume guy more or less. Super reliable in the regular season, just was mediocre in the playoffs & 0-3 in super bowls.

Edelman really became a WR in 2013. Before that he did everything.
Compare those 5 years to 5 years of Welker. What you think? Not close lol.
But no doubt I want Edelman when it matters.

Welker got 26 more targets/season than Edelman in those years. Or almost 2 more targets/game than Edelman. Welker is just a regular season warrior. Not saying he's bad, i just prefer edelman. Obviously Welker had better regular season #'s though I can't argue that, but like i said, more targets = better #'s.
