I guess last year is what I specifically was talking about as well. Obviously Starks has been out this season.

Not to mention I said play making ability (as in long carries rather than 5 yards and falling down), Stark's long was 65 yds vs Lacy's long of 29 yds.

Lacy had 19 carries of 10+ yards last season out of 187 total. Starks had 11 out of 148 total.

Lacy has been the better back for a while. Starks is a better receiver, but Lacy is the better runner and blocker. Lacy also showed a lot of improvement this year, with 10 of his 71 carries going for more than 10 yards.

Not only that, much of the action Starks saw last season was when the Packers were in "catch up" mode aka garbage time. Soft defenses allowing small chunks of yardage to be picked up more easily than in the first half

I just don't really even understand the argument. Starks has always been somebody that has good vision but required good blocking if there wasn't a cutback lane. Lacy's very obviously better at running in traffic.
