Eagles officially have signed WR Jordan Matthews and placed WR Mike Wallace on Injured Reserve.

Jordan is backkkkkkkk

Love it. They're also in talks with Jeremy Maclin as well.

Should be a good gap filler until we get Alshon back.

#Eagles are signing WR Jordan Matthews, per league source. Matthews is still just 26 and has an excellent relationship w/Carson Wentz. He caught 225 passes for 2,673 yards/19 TDs in 3 seasons as an Eagle. Matthews had his physical yesterday and should be playing Week 3 vs #Colts.

Jordan Matthews -- with the #Eagles from 2014-16 -- is one of only five receivers ever to amass 65 catches and 800 yards each of their first three seasons. And it's quite an accomplished list to be on: Randy Moss, A.J. Green, Odell Beckham Jr. and Mike Evans.

Matthews is still just 26 and was a 2014 second-round pick of the Eagles. He spent his first three years with the team but saw his career take a downturn after multiple injuries and was then shipped to the Bills in the trade for CB Ronald Darby. Matthews has a close relationship with Carson Wentz and knows the offense. He's expected to step in immediately as the slot receiver after the Eagles were forced to use TE Josh Perkins there last week against the Bucs. However, Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) could return this week.

You know whats been pissing me off?
The defense is leaky past the dline and they didnt bother trying to plug it. The superbowl is proof our secondary isnt good.
Now the offense has to step up in games like these because the defense keeps giving up plays and racking up red zone penalties.

Should have tried to fix that in the offseason but Doug is an offensive coach so he can do whatever I guess.

Since everyone gets so butt hurt when we don't use this, let's bump the shit out of it everyday, all day so it's all people see on the front page. See how much the salt will intensify then.
