I've seen it a few times recently that some people think Edelman is a Hall of Famer... he's definitely not though in my opinion lol... his regular season numbers just aren't there.

Yeah i actually agree, sure he's close to Rice in postseason stats but theres already going to be a log jam of WRs for HoF (Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitz, Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith, prob missing more) and edelman is not up there with any of those guys really. i don't think he's a HoFer. welker isn't and neither is jules. Gronk is way more of a HoFer than Edelman.

Still, Edelman will go down as one of the best couple of Patriots WRs of all time. He's already up there with Moss/Welker/Troy Brown status.

Jules will get a red jacket from the Patriots HoF. That’s about it though.

To even be remotely considered for the HoF, he would have to have a crazy performance and get SB MVP, and even with that It would be such a reach.

The only way i could see him get even close to sniffing the HoF if he has a long career (5+ more seasons) puts up at least a few more 100 reception seasons (think he only has 1) and wins at least 1 more SB and just keeps piling up stats. Even then i'm not sure it would possible.

i mean our offense isn't built to cater to wrs either ya know
