Think that's right. Really doubt Shields is coming back. So it's either Lacy, or IR Randall and bring him back (depending on estimated recovery time).

Yes. I think the change was you no longer need to designate the player as IR - To Return when placing them there, you can make the choice later.

On the bright side, Jared Cook should be able to return and get re-injured soon. Something to look forward to.

I agree with you. Think Shields is done and the Alabama Slammer comes back to close out the season on his contract year

The Packers should consider signing Brian Hartline, he's not very big or fast but he runs great routes and has very good hands.
