If you've got a fan purposefully imitating a whistle to try and make players stop, you're being a complete asshole. No idea how you could think otherwise on that.

I guess the way i see it is he’s doing his job as a fan while the home team is on defense. stand up, get loud, and make some noise. On offense, sit the fuck down and be quiet.

What different is whistling than yelling hike! Or random colors and numbers to attempt to audible? Absolutely nothing. If someone near him has a problem they can ask him to stop, but he doesn’t even have to.

And honestly? Imitating a whistle? Yea, he’s whistling. Natural noise. What about the other 50,000 people yelling and clapping and smacking the back of chairs and stomping. You think he’s seriously trying to make players stop? He’s being loud. Yea maybe it was a little annoying on the broadcast, but fuck it. Who cares? It was a consistent whistle, not only when the ball was in mid air so i don’t really see how he’s trying to get players to stop.

Idk, just reminds me of the time I was at Fenway for a sox yanks game and a fellow boston fan asked me to be quiet and sit down, i respectfully declined, and even the yankee fans around me gave the nod of approval. If you don’t want to deal with the crowd, don’t buy tickets to the game.

Sorry not trying to attack you or anything, i just think it’s completely different if you have someone shining lasers at players faces and a guy whistling.

Why don't you try reading the other posts in the thread. To think it has anything to do with complaining about crowd noise is just :bonk:

e: There's a reason whistles are on the prohibited item list for stadiums, but ya, I'm just complaining about crowd noise.....

Some stats to make you boys wet

vs. Chargers D-line (Bosa/Ingram)
Sacks - 0
Hits - 1 (Dwayne Allen)
Hurries - 5
Pressures - 6

vs. Chiefs D-line(T-1 in sacks)
Sacks - 0
Hits - 1
Hurries - 7
Pressures - 8

James Develin and Rob Gronkowski are so fucking good man...along with the oline ofc.

Can we stop Suh and Donald though?

Suh has been better lately, but Donald ofc is the real problem. we got two weeks and I'm confident BB will have an answer for at least slowing him down. That coupled with bradys insanely quick release and we're solid.

What blew me away even more, was how our secondary DOMINATED KC's star players. Kelce had what, 3 catches for 24 yards and Hill caught one ball all game, then we kept William's to 30 on the ground and Mahomes didn't even try to run against us. I know Watkina had a day, but I feel more confident in our defense than I have in ages.

Outside that one blown coverage in the first quarter, Keenan Allen got shut the fuck down too.

Donald scares me, we've seen suh before plenty (when he was with detroit & miami) so i'm.sure our oline guys will be familiar with his style play. I think we'll.have to double.aaron donald as.much as possible.

All game man, or at least most of it. There isn't anyone on our team who can handle that monster 1v1, hes just too fucking good.

E: Do you guys think Jules has a chance of passing Rice? He's 32, but he should only need a few more playoff appearances to pull it off. Going to be hard if Bradys gone ofc, but it's fucking legit he's double digits over the next closest guy now.

No one can completely shut him down 1v1 for 60 minutes. Thats for sure, he's PFF's highest rated player in the NFL. Luckily tom has some of the best pocket awareness in ghe game.

One of Kelces catches was also a delayed screen
JC Jackson did fucking work against him
The biggest difference in the defense this year obviously starts with having Hightower back along with the growth of Trey* Flowers, no question. Now we have the ability to pressure the QB anytime with multiple schemes. Sure, we don't get sacks, but we were 2nd? I believe at pressuring the QB. Wouldn't be shocked if we were 32nd last year...
That makes all the difference for the secondary
