Whistle guy isn’t doing anything wrong though. He pays for tickets and enjoys himself. If he used an actual whistle, sure. But fuck me if we start banning fans for being loud and making noise on their own. Too soft imo

If you've got a fan purposefully imitating a whistle to try and make players stop, you're being a complete asshole. No idea how you could think otherwise on that.

It's not much different than crowds being loud purposefully at certain times and making it hard for the opposing team to hear, hoping they jump off sides, false start etc etc.

Agree to disagree. You're purposefully trying to sound like a whistle, in the hope that a player will stop a play in progress, or that he'll at least hesitate and fuck up. Yelling your ass off, swearing, doing w/e the fuck is fine by me, but trying to imitate the one single thing that means STOP in this game, is a bitch made move.
