Steve Smith would allow us to take an OT or a TE in the 1st round, then go with WR in the 2nd or 3rd.

WHY te? Did Dickson go somewhere and I didn't see it? Pitta and Dickson seemed like something they would be Content with. I agree we need that oline boost.. Prolly could dump 2 picks on that. Tbh I haven't checked on the draft class. :/ not a fan of college ball.

Dicksons contract has expired, doesn't seem like we're interested in bringing him back.

Jets and Giants are interested in him.

I think we'll draft a TE and/or give Furstenburg a shot.

Signing Steve Smith would be cool, but it won't change their draft strategy at all, considering he'd be just a 1-year deal.

I wouldn't even be surprised if they took a CB like Justin Gilbert if he somehow fell to us, or traded down and took Dennard. Ebron, Evans, or Lewan would be my preference though @ 17. If none of them are there (and it's quite likely none of them are there), trade down.

I might revise our needs as:

OW (Offensive Weapon, to take a page from the Jaguars. A top-tier, first-round TE or a WR).

Ravens are in talks with WR Steve Smith, per source. Trying to get him to Baltimore for a visit.
