Notice at 28:46 at the beginning of the Superbowl when the Giants are in their warm up huddle and shouting "New York! " "Giants" Eli is actually with them and shouting .
He was showing a lot of emotion and showed he really wanted it.

As you probably know Eli usually NEVER takes part in anything like that. Its just not him. But for the superbowl he was crazy.
