I'm starting to have concerns for the playbook and the possible simplicity to it. Very few pass playcalls go as planned and most of yardage gained through the air is roger's freestyle. it seems that the defenders are a step ahead of us in terms of our routes.

That's what worries me too.. I understand Rodgers can extend plays like no tomorrow, but like you said, that seems like it's more of a freestyle at that point lol. Routes are finished and the WR are just scrambling to get open. I think we need to mix in more quick hitters, screens etc

Aaron is a big part of the problem. There is no excuse to have that much time in the pocket and not shred a defense. There were some drops, but he missed plenty of throws.

Yeah. A lot of uncharacteristic misses, and some of them by a big margin. I think he should be using his legs more as well with that much time in the pocket.

e/ as in taking off and running for a chunk of yards, not dancing around trying to make something happen

Even early on, a few of the balls, even the ones that were caught, were either far behind the receiver or throwing them into coverage. Timings just seem off. Also, it appears as if we aren't even bothering with tight ends this season. I understand Cook is hurt but Aaron just seems so discouraged with even the few looks given to RRodgers
