Steal of FA. Depending on how you valued Albert, Monroe was the best FA LT. Basically once the retarded money-spewing Dolphins overpaid for Albert, our biggest obstacle to signing Monroe was out of the way.

Seeing that the Texans cut Owen Daniels, I could see him stepping in to play under Kubiak if no one wants him. I'm convinced Pitta will be playing in the slot a lot more; we're going to need a 2nd TE. I also think CJ Fiedorowicz would be a great pick if we don't get Ebron round 1, since having a #2 TE who can block and catch a pass reliably would be a perfect combo with a bad blocker like Pitta. Fiedorowicz would be worth a late 3rd or 4th round pick, should we get a pick there somehow.

Also disappointed in these Edelman and Sanders rumors @ WR. I really don't like either one. Edelman is a system WR imo, and he was asking 5mil/year. Sanders is just a guy, nothing special about him. Of the FA WRs, a released Steve Smith would be my first choice, followed by Nicks on a 1-year deal.

Our big splash in FA is probably done /w Monroe and Pitta re-signed. We'll probably bring back Smith once the prices fall (Jackson and Dansby kind of jacked up the ILB price), but other than that, probably won't make any big moves like making an offer on Mack, as I've heard some speculate.
