lmao doubtful. the cowboys are garbage and a healthy dez obviously doesn't help. the whole team is garbage and saying they robbed the league blind is comical. the cowboys will never go anywhere with big jerry running the show.

The 'Boys have actually killed the draft in recent history. I think the biggest disappointment for them this season has been Dez Bryant. He' been completely shut out this year even when healthy.

EDIT: Even with Romo hurt I think the Cowboys should have won a wild card spot. They're too talented, and Dez should be able to carry that offense no matter who's playing QB, especially with that O-Line. IDK what happened to Dez this year...

He seems to have shut it down for the season.

Shit the whole offense outside of McFadden seems to have shut it down.

Last year was so much fun =/

C'mon look at the offense line.

Tyrone Crawford is a stud at DT. Lawrence is shining right now and Gregory is playing well he is just always a step away.

If they can have a solid draft with CB's and a FS the team could compete for it all. Not like winning the NFC east is a prized possession

Dez + every offensive lineman they have? How are you not seeing this?

Getting La'el Collins as an undrafted FA and Gregory in the second round? Cowboy's may have had the best draft class of the last five years.

Smith has been in the league for like 5-6 years now at LT. Crawford is in his 4th or 5th year?

Gregory hasn't did anything. I know he's talented as all hell, but you could name 3-5 guys on each roster who are just a couple steps away.

Frederick at Center was a great steal, Zach Martin at OG was a perfect pick in that range. Great picks.

Lawrence has been coming on, but those picks don't mean you're killing the draft though.

You have to hit on mid-late round picks in order to kill drafts. Picks in the 1st-3rd rounds are expected starters. It's the 4th-7th round picks that really set drafts over the edge.

Dez was drafted in 2010.... They fluked into Collins because of legal issues.. He picked the Cowboys, they didn't select him.

1 27 Byron Jones CB Connecticut 150.8 3.3 99.9
2 60 Randy Gregory OLB Nebraska 138.5 1.4 92.2
3 91 Chaz Green OT Florida 102.8 -0.1 45.7
4 127 Damien Wilson ILB Minnesota 121.9 0.1 54.9
5 163 Ryan Russell DL Purdue 125.1 0.4 66.0
7 236 Mark Nzeocha OLB Wyoming 140.7 1.7 95.3
7 243 Laurence Gibson OT Virginia Tech 121.3 1.3 90.2
7 246 Geoff Swaim TE Texas 117.0 0 49.3

That's the best draft class in the last five years??? Are you serious right now? LMAO............

Name me a half dozen teams that have killed the first three rounds like the 'Boys, though. Would you rather have some quality value late, or genuine stars early?

The Cowboys suck and won't win another title anywhere in the near future, but the one thing you can't fault is there drafting of late.

And yeah, Byron Jones has been a quality starter.

Bro, I never said he wasn't. Dude is a freak athlete and I would have liked him as a FS in the 3rd round. Mainly because he switched between S and CB in college and never really had a set position.

Dude, teams are suppose to find starters in rounds 1-3. Real drafts are made by hitting on guys beyond the first 3 rounds.

And why are you calling them stars? If they killed all these first 3 rounds and drafted so many stars like you said, they would have a lot more wins..
