I only would have done a masters if I remained employed with my university's athletic department, so that I would have received discounted schooling. Alas, I got a job elsewhere so I decided not to pursue a masters for the time being.

Yep! And I agree. I'm very happy with how life is starting to shape up. Obviously a lot can change in the next few years but I'd like to think I'm on the right path
