The difference with the Jesse James TD is the camera angles were way better and CLEARLY showed the ball out of his control; Look at Jesse James' left hand when the ball goes to the ground, he's not even holding onto the ball, that's CLEAR evidence to me that it's not a catch... whereas the Cooks TD, there was no CLEAR angle at the time and Cooks never really lost control, his hands are both surrounding the ball in a cradling fashion, i.e. not enough evidence to overturn.

bottom line: refs have a hard job and they are inconsistent, there's not a mass conspiracy that the league wants the patriots to win.
