Cause the QB is the ONLY reason a team wins or loses something right?

QB is the MAIN reason. Please try to refute that.

There shouldnt be an arguement over Eli or Stafford

Eli has won games for his team
Eli has won two SBs with his team
Eli has made huge plays for his team in the playoffs and SBs
Eli has proven he can handle the media of NY and living in the shadow of his older brother
Nobody can ignore his credentials
And im not trying to bash him when I say that I BELIEVE the defense played a bigger role in winning the SB than he did, thats just my belief

Nobody knows whats gonna happen with Stafford, his first 2 years were all injuries and he played only 13 games
His third year he has an elite type season
But nobody knows if he is going to play that good every single year
Am I glad he did this good? Who the fuck wouldnt be, but im not ready to place him in the top 5 yet and I would like to see a few playoff wins and a few more seasons under his belt before we talk about how good (or how bad) hes going to be

And the 2000 Ravens, but is that the exception or the rule? Almost every other super bowl other than these two has been won by elite QBs.

According to xnozx, Brady was absolutely terrible in all his SB wins.

Truce? I really dont know what your referring to.

And also, yes Stafford's stats are inflated but you think they are inflated for the wrong reason. You are convinced that CJ81 inflated his stats when reality is this: Stafford's numbers were inflated because we had no running game and our secondary sucked so we were involved in many shootouts. CJ81 helped Stafford out a lot but it also works vice versa. There is a reason CJ81 posted much better numbers with Stafford compared to without him.  CJ81 is a #1 WR and Stafford uses him as much as he can, your not supposed to hold that against him...
There is a reason why even you said CJ81 could be the #2 receiver in the NFL before the season started, but at seasons end CJ81 is without a doubt the #1 WR in the NFL. CJ81 obviously couldn't have accomplished that without Stafford because he DIDN'T accomplish it without Stafford.

Now you may disagree, thats fine because everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I am nobody to call you delusional for not believing me. But I do expect the same courtesy out of you, which you haven't shown since the Lions have started playing better.

I've had Calvin Johnson #1 for years now despite everyone crowning Andre Johnson #1 and then later Fitz #1.

I'm not saying Stafford isn't a very good and could develop into a great QB, what I'm saying is it's hard to tell because of the ability of Calvin Johnson. Of course Stafford is going to elevate Calvin's stats compared to someone like John Kitna, Dan Orlovsky, Daunte Culpepper and whoever else they threw into the mix.

Stafford is a very good young QB but his talent isn't eye opening yet. Some people have a hard time putting him top 10, I have him listed 9th. The offense he plays in combined with Calvin Johnson inflate his stats greatly. He threw the ball 663 times last season. Also your run game is transformed through your short passing game much like the Saints, it's how they move the chains a lot.It aids for a very sexy statistical season.(Look at Drew Brees)

Never once have I ever said Stafford wasn't a good QB.

And I sent you that PM saying I was done arguing and called for a truce otherwise I'm going to just ignore you because it's nonsense. You never responded back.

You're just an idiot. Detroit doesn't talk out of his ass all the time.

I said Peyton was awful in his playoff/Super Bowl run.

As far as Brady is concerned he did NOTHING in the first Superbowl/playoff run. His second playoff run he played very well. His third playoff run he played excellent.

2001: 3 games: 60 for 97, 672 yards, 1 TD : 1 INT, 61.9 completion %, 5.9 YPC, 77.3 passer rating
2003: 3 games: 75 for 126, 792 yards, 5 TD : 2 INT, 59.5 completion %, 6.3 YPC, 84.5 passer rating
2004: 3 games: 55 for 81, 587 yards, 5 TD : 0 INT, 67.9 completion %, 7.2 YPC, 109.4 passer rating

Saying Peyton played awful for his superbowl is 100% accurate. If it weren't for the fact he played vs sexy rexy and that pathetic offense he wouldn't have a superbowl ring. He's very lucky to have it.
