I started getting applications out this week as well. Got my last quarter of school and I'm hoping to have an offer before I finish. Most the places in my area seem to be in the 55-80 starting range. I'd honestly be happy with anything 50+ and room for advancement. I'm looking for state jobs only pretty much, I want the benefits and the stability. Private pays WAY better, but I'd never see my family, so it's not worth it to me.
From what I’ve been told, it’s definitely attainable, but there are specific numbers that I’m sure I will be told about once I get started training. There are different percentages that I have to hit in order to get it, but there are different levels at either 0, 250, 1000, or 2000. So I’ll have to ask what percentage of people in my position hit each incentive. My interviewer said he makes the bonuses attainable because if you hit your bonuses then he gets better workers and if we are hitting the numbers to get the bonus then the company is making money and everyone makes money that way. So it sounded promising that those bonuses can be hit regularly. I’m sure there are better months than others.
