So......... Mike Glennon.

I see the logic to do it now, give him 1 game to play then 2 weeks to correct his mistakes, but man.... rough season to be a Bucs fan

Also, let us not forget the motto - Trust, Belief, Accountability

Josh has been held accountable

Glennon didn't look too hot during preseason.

I'm hoping Josh will eventually be named starter again but he seems to be at odds with the coaching staff and they are shopping him, apparently :/.

His confidence is wrecked now, there is no going back.

Probably not, hopefully he'll have success wherever he ends up :(.

Bump.

Gonna be the first week in years, excluding that game he sat out versus the Panthers, that my boy Josh Freeman isn't starting the game at QB. I it's bullshit they gave up on him this early when you consider how much they fucked themselves in areas outside of QB, namely penalties on defense that allowed the opposition to sustain big drives, hit that winning field goal, etc. Let's not forget the shitty kicking game they've fielded to this point. You gotta figure without a handful of key penalties and with Barth kicking they'd be 2-1 right now in the thick of things in the NFC South.

Fuck this coaching staff.

As much as I like Freeman, the poor play around him shouldn't stop him from completing better passes, and controlling the offense more effectively. He's made an awful lot of mistakes himself. But who can say how the earlier games this year would've played out w/o key penalties and such.
I also think that the team has no confidence in him either, it's not just the coach. Hence him not getting the capt tag. That'll hurt a QB a lot too... so maybe it's time for him to move on, perhaps to an organization that will appreciate him more, and give him his due.

#1 Glennon is legit, his throws yesterday were better than the last 10 games of Freeman throws collectively.
#2 Our Defense is something special, I love it. McCoy was a beast, Goldson was bullied by refs, and Banks had that BEAUTY of an int
#3 Lindell surprised me. Didn't expect him to get anything let alone a 50yarder but it was pretty

Seriously pissed, again, that we let a won-game out of our hands. To be frank, I am shocked and astounded that it took the Crads until the 3rd quater to realise that Fitzy can catch a ball <_<

Revis vs Fitzy was a great matchup.
Oh, and pissed at our Oline for seemingly being unable to stop a wounded Dline, talented or not.

Josh Freeman may look amazing in Gary Kubiak's west coast offense next season. He's 25 years old and has plenty of years left in his career. I actually think he would be the perfect replacement for a 32-year-old and washed up Schaub, who hasn't been the same since his Lisfranc foot injury and surgery in 2011.

And strangely, it was that game at Tampa Bay during the 2011 season when Albert Haynesworth broke Schaub's foot. That game pretty much changed the rest of his career in terms of his arm strength. Without properly planting your foot that takes a lot of arm strength away. He hasn't thrown the deep balls that good since that season-ending injury. It would be poetic justice if we end up with Josh Freeman and he has much success in Houston.

Tampa Bay's garbage may become our treasure. It's your fault our current QB is damaged goods!
