It appears that Matt Schaub had his foundation fundraiser thing tonight. It always good to get on twitter and see all the players talking to eachother seem like they having that is what i like to see in a team... Offense Defense whoever just shooting the shit on Twitter after a good night.

Arian Foster and Duane Brown both tweet a lot.

Texans like WRs with size who can block. Pretty much not what Kendall Wright is. It's looking like Rueben Randle (LSU) or Stephen Hill (Georgia Tech) at 26 will likely be their selection if one drops. I'm trying to decide which one is better. Been watching videos on both and it's a tough call.

In the latest SI.com mock by Don Banks it's Rueben Randle to Houston. He has Wright gone at 22 to the Browns and Hill going early in round two.

26 WR Rueben Randle LSU Jr. 6-4 208 I had Randle to the Texans in my second mock of the year, back in late February, before the combine. Every old becomes new again at some point. Houston could surprise most everyone and not take a receiver in the first round, I suppose, but with Kendall Wright already gone and Stephen Hill short on track record, why not opt for a proven playmaker from a big-time program?

I really like what Randle can do with his size and speed. He seems the most versatile and the most likely to grasp Gary Kubiak's offense. But you have to wonder if a healthy Lestar Jean can already do the same things? Do the Texans really need to take a wide receiver in round one?

Dont really want him unless we can get him in the second round.

I'm actually liking Coby Fleener a lot too.

According to Pro Football Weekly, Baylor WR Kendall Wright is "parked in the third round" on a number of teams' draft boards after an unimpressive offseason.
There were rumors of an offseason weight gain for Wright, and his forty time at the Combine was slower than anticipated. "Randall Cobb was a lot better," one NFL evaluator said. "Wright is nowhere near as good with the ball in his hands and (Cobb) lasted 'til the back of the second (round). People are getting snookered (by Wright)." Wright managed only four bench-press reps, and Pro Football Weekly reports his body fat was 16 percent. Per PFW, it's "one of the highest percentages for a receiver in the past decade." I want Rueben Randle the most out of all the WRs who are late first rounders. He could really do well in the Texans offense.

If that's true I wouldn't touch him lol. But I doubt it is, unless some other sites are reporting it as well.

And go fuck yourself with Rueben Randle lol.

The NFL Draft is tomorrow, so here's a bump. Someone on NFL.com did a mock, which I like for the most part.

1st. Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
2nd. Alameda Ta'amu, NT, Washington
3rd. Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt ~Hate this pick, I don't mind picking a CB in this draft, just too early IMO. Bruce Irvin was available here, I'd go with him.~
4th. Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas
4th. Nigel Bradham, LB, Florida State ~Meh pick, would probably go with DE depth~
5th. James Hanna, TE, Oklahoma ~Meh pick as well, doesn't have good stats, even playing in OU's spread offense with Landry~
6th. Vick Ballard, RB, Mississippi State
7th. Blair Walsh, K, Georgia

The off-season has been so boring. I'm ready to watch the draft tomorrow night. Is it just round one on ESPN?

Did you see Neil Rackers signed with the Redskins yesterday? Forgot to mention it earlier but that's a good thing considering he was useless kicking anything over 43 yards. He sort of bad mouthed the Texans management saying they promised him a long-term contract but only offered a low-ball one year deal. His miss in the playoff game against the Ravens was costly. Really changed the complexion of that game. Special Teams in general was a big weakness for the Texans last year.
