I'll give Amendola up until the bye week to prove himself to me... but as of now, he seems like a waste of salary cap space... I'll give it to him, the injury and "newness" to the team is hindering his potential ability, but c'mon... it seems like the guy can't even catch or run the routes correctly.
Our o-line is horrendous, really scares me. We could very easily be 0-3 without Edelman... not impressed yet. No WRs have Brady's trust either, it was nice seeing LaFell and Wright make appearances, though. Call me an Amendola hater, but he hasn't produced at all over these past two years. Cut him, put the new guys (Thompkins and Dobson) in there and let them grow... both seem like they could have amazing potential.
As far as defense, we seem pretty solid. As long as we are not on the field too long and get fatigued, I trust our D. Revis isn't playing like a "shutdown" corner but he is still very good, so I'm pleased with him.
Though, it isn't fair to not put any blame on Brady's shoulders... He hasn't seemed "cool" or like the "comeback kid" in a few years... I only see him throwing tantrums and sitting in his famous "bradying" pose after bad plays... Cmon Tom, be a leader!
...and that's my weekly post-game analysis. Next Monday in KC will be a true test. We are going to need to produce on offense, our defense can't win games alone.
Oh, and give it to Ridley more often, as long as he can hold onto the ball... we need to establish a better run game early on.. makes things so much easier for Brady in the passing game. Even if Ridley gets benched, I more than trust Vereen (especially in the passing game) and Bolden
