Last time Green Bay won an overtime game was in 2007 with a go-ahead TD toss to Jennings from Favregod

Anybody have any earlier thoughts as to what we'll do with our huge group of free agents next year? (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/green-bay-packers/)
Sitton, Lang, Bakhtiari, Tretter, Lacy, Perry, Datone, Barrington, Pennel, Hyde, Peppers, and quite a few other lesser role players... crazy.
Between Peppers 8+ million, Perry's 5+ million, and one of the guard's 5+ million coming off the books, maybe we can keep most of the band together.

Well if we win the Super Bowl this year Peppers will definitely retire, so that would be one less thing to worry about. Otherwise Ted has consistently done a good job of keeping core players and using the draft and develop system to put the next man in.

I can't really think of anyone we've let go in recent years that has had success elsewhere other than GOAT Woodson

I think Peppers is done either way. I do tend to trust Ted to fill in holes, but we haven't seen a FA class this big or important in the last decade that I can remember. It's an enormous FA class with a lot of very important players to consider.

That's a fair point. I think we need to prioritize keeping the O-Line and D-Line mostly intact, but I wouldn't lose sleep if we lost Hyde or Pennel. Neither of them are irreplaceable in my opinion.

Peppers will hang it up, but we have built fine for the future. Let's finish out this season first before worrying about the daunting task of next offseason. That being said, this season will be the best way to judge these contract players who will almost undoubtedly be playing their best to secure their own futures. Each has shown flashes of being great, some more consistently than others. I agree keeping the line together on both sides is paramount, but as I previously mentioned and chemo did as well: the front office has done well with filling the holes and allowing the next man to step up. Now is a good time to remind Packer fans that not going after big free agents will help us secure the core players on our own team for the future.

He showed some big play ability last year but we asked too much of him

Not being the primary corner will help him a lot
