haven't we talked about how shitty Maller is before? (maybe not, couldve been someone else my memories no the best) he is absolutely the worst personality on the station... every time I hear his voice when i'm driving home from work (I work late a few nights a week) i can't change the station fast enough. he's god awful. not only is his voice mind-blowingly annoying, but he's a national goon who is out of touch with Boston sports/weei personality. I honestly just think they use him because he's already in a studio somewhere (he does other national shows, i'm not even sure if he does the show from Massachusetts, may be on the west coast) and they don't have any other options? I don't think Patrick Gilrow can work 5 nights a week is another reason why they use him.

Do you miss Kirk Minnehane like I do? lol. My mornings feel empty without him sometimes. Can't wait til his new radio.com show is up & running.

We probably did. I've ranted about him in the past. Omg, he is literally just the absolutely worst. I genuinely want to know what other people think when they listen to him. My blood starts to boil because I could do a better job myself at what he does. Lol.

Anyways, I actually don't miss Kirk. I liked him when he was on weei, i actually liked kirk and callahan the most during that time frame. But my favorites were always reimer when he was on in the morning (besides his whole pissant comment which was just dumb and uncalled for) and mutt at night. Now I get Mutt and callahan in the morning and reimer at night, so it's much better.

It's not that I don't miss kirk, he has an entertaining persona on air, but i just think its so much better without him. Sometimes he was a little much. I hated how he interrupted so much. I wish him the best but I think weei is fine without him. I would welcome him back in a heartbeat too. I guess i just feel indifferent towards him.

we're on the same page with Maller, but Kirk > every personality at the station. it's just like any other spots show now without him lol. thank got Curtis & Ken are staying at least, without them, i probably wouldn't even listen. Love the drops. Kirk also has a sense of humor unlike anyone else on the station now. the only person that made me laugh on the air as much as him was Mikey Adams a few years ago (he's long gone). Mut is fine and all but he's such an uninteresting personality, this may sound wierd, but I liked him better when he was solo at night (from 6pm-10pm). Reimer is good, brings energy to the show. I still love it when though when Gerry & John Tomasse talk politics lol.

Yea i hear all of what you’re saying. Idk. I guess radio/weei isn’t really where i go for entertainment. If i want to hear a loud guy with hot takes i’ll watch key and peele. Not listen to Kirk. And still, i love the dude, i just don’t necessarily miss him.

I will give it to ya that he made the mornings fun. I didn’t mind the politics talk between him and gerry because it was actually pretty damn funny.

Usually when i listen i’m either driving or i want to hear about what’s going on in the boston sports world. with that being said, mutt and reimer aren’t exactly exciting personalities, but they are good at talking about the stuff that matters. Sometimes reimer goes on social rants, but it’s a nice change of pace because i can relate to him more than gerry and tomassee on their rants lol. reimer is definitely biased but he at least can explain where he’s coming from with facts not emotions. Last night he was talking about how there is a disproportionate number of black coaches and an opportunity bias in the nfl. He was reading statistics and you’re Donald Juniors form Red New Hampshire would call in and say some blatantly wrong shit like the good ole boys do, and reimer was just like listen, i’ve only read statistics. i haven’t even given my take yet. he takes the heat well. Idk i just like that. With kirk or callahan it’s just they’re right and you’re dumb. no real discussion out of that sort of thing.

when it comes to unbiased, down to earth, football talk, mutt is your guy. he’s by far the best if you want to listen football and no other bs. he doesn’t entertain trolls who call in, he doesn’t talk about dumb media stories more than he has to, and he loves legarette blount too haha.

for me, i liked listening to the morning show (K&C) for the B/S, bashing, banter, random competitions (Peter King Challenge, Battle of the Brainless) etc etc, when I want sports, I go to the WEEI website or listen to the other 3 shows they have. The best sports show on the station IMO is 2-6pm, OMF, I like them better for sports than Mut & Gerry.
