Did not participate: WR Julian Edelman (PUP, foot surgery), RB Dion Lewis (PUP, ACL surgery), S Nate Ebner (rugby exemption), G Tre’ Jackson (PUP, knee surgery), RG Jonathan Cooper (foot), C Bryan Stork, Shaq Mason, RT Sebastian Vollmer (PUP), WR Danny Amendola (PUP, knee and ankle surgeries), TE Clay Harbor (PUP), WR Keshawn Martin, WR Nate Washington, DT Alan Branch (NFI, hip injury)

Returned: WR Malcolm Mitchell, RB Brandon Bolden, DT Vincent Valentine.

Red non-contact jerseys: CB Logan Ryan, S Duron Harmon

Additional attendance notes: Cooper, Stork and Martin each missed their first practice of training camp.

Practice observations:
Chris Hogan injured his right shoulder early in practice during a one-on-one blocking drill with defensive backs. Hogan tried to participate in the next period but removed himself after catching a couple passes. He watched the remainder of the workout from the sideline.
