Apparent speculation we're interested in bennet if released. A trade won't happen for obvious reasons. I think he makes more sense than forte though both will make our passing attack extremely potent.

A solid veteran presence from Forte could really provide a lot of help to solidify Lacy's talents.

We have strong, clear cut leaders and a winning mentality. I'd be pissed if we got our assess kicked religiously as well. He's not half the headcase quarless is and that's who he'd be replacing on the depth chart. If bennet is released, we are first in line, per reports. Though I'd enjoy l green more so than bennet, there's still oodles of talent.

Trevathan to bears, forte to jets, green to Steelers. Same old TT, let's hope we can stay healthy I suppose.

For those feelings left out during the offseason:

According to ESPN stats and information, “the Dolphins, Colts, Buccaneers and Jaguars have spent the most guaranteed money in free agency under the new CBA (since 2011), and only the Colts have a winning record in that time. The four teams that have spent the least – the Steelers, Packers, Bengals and Cowboys – all are at .500 or better in that stretch. Of the four, the Packers have the highest winning percentage (.706) in that span, despite ranking 31st in guaranteed money for free agents.

To be fair though, our old GM (09-2012) drafted like complete dog shit. We didn't have anybody good enough to resign from our draft classes lmao. The only one who comes to mind, would have been Blackmon, but we all know the end of that story rolf.

That's a huge reason why we have so much cap space right now. Mainly that and our current GM not going FA crazy his first 2 seasons.

Building through the draft, developing your own guys and paying your own guys will always be the key to winning. That's what all of the consistently good teams have in common.

Seen a few photos, Looking like bamalacey again. Speculation is we'll lose Starks to the patriots, interested to see what we'll do in the draft to fill his shoes. He was an important piece to our offense, scares me a bit.
