WHo do you guys wanna play? Houston? Baltimore? L.A.? I think i heard if Houston wins next week we automatically play them? i'm really undecided on this, on one hand, Lamar Jackson is hands down the worst QB out of the 3. but on the other hand, we own the Texans at home in the postseason.

This is the first time we make the playoffs where the media and the haters don't expect us to win anything

Feels so good being able to just enjoy some playoff football

Really, thank you, haters

yeah, we're definitely not favorites.

I don’t want to play Baltimore. I think they always play us tough, and Jackson will expose our slow ass defense. I understand the Bb vs rookie thing, but i’d rather not take chances.

Indy/Hou are HOT right now. So, maybe the chargers? Ultimately i’m just excited for the good games next week.

I don't think we can play Indy? at least not in the divisional round. Chargers would be a fun game to watch, Rivers could dissect our secondary however. he's easily the best QB out of the 4 AFC teams that don't have a bye (yes i Think he's better than Luck still). Chargers also have a decent pass rush with Bosa & Ingram. they are also flying pretty low under the radar for a 12 win team.

I think the Ravens are still the boogeyman type team, we only fear them because historically their defenses fluster brady and they aren't necessarily scared to play us.

Well shit boys, some fucking magic way we still (despite our best efforts) ended up with a first round bye. I wouldn't say I'm optimistic, but if we can avoid playing in KC and we can manage to beat Baltimore, we have a legitimate shot at making the SB again. Pretty much everyone in the NFC terrifies me (except Dallas), but I'd be fucking ecstatic just making it there.

We've looked like dog shit this year, we'll find out later I guess if Brady was really playing with a significant injury, but I doubt it. He was inconsistent last year and it's only got worse. His inability to hit wide open receivers or throw a spiral past 20 yards has had me facepalming all year, not to mention his clear nervousness in the pocket, causing him to improperly read the field, missing wide open guys, forcing bad balls, and giving up sacks in clutch moments. He also seems outright terrified to give the ball or even check the field for Gronk, which just sucks.

Our defense has looked better as of late, and while a lot of that is probably due to mostly incompetent offenses that we played in our home stretch, I'm hoping those performances will give our boys enough confidence to show the fuck up when it matters.

Houston is who I want. I'd bet the farm we can smack them around and while I know a lot of people don't seem to respect Baltimore all that much, they're easily the team that scares me the most. Their offense isn't anything special, but that D can shut down anyone and unless Brady is playing absolutely perfect, or Baltimore gives the game away, it will be a nightmare matchup for us.

Anyway. Sorry for the essay. I haven't been posting much lately with the holidays, but I'm back now and I'm hyped as fuck for patriot playoffs. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas/New Year (that goes to non Pat buzzins as well who wasted their time reading this) and GO PATS!!!!!!!!

We are the only undefeated team at home this year, which blows my mind considering how the year has gone. NE during the BB/Brady era has been absurdly good when playing at home and if we can hold home throughout, I like our chances. I DO NOT want to fucking go to Arrowhead, fuck that place. I'm not saying we'd lose for sure, but I feel like we'd have to get pretty lucky or play perfectly to win there. Regardless of who we play, it's our secondary letting up HUGE plays and Brady missing that worry me. He has to find his fucking confidence again and he needs to trust his players (Gronk especially) if we're going to win now.

The drastically improved pass rush has made our secondary look less terrible, but it's still not a good unit. We haven't been tested in awhile, unless you count an infighting, depleted, and missing the playoffs Pitt as a true test. We haven't done shit against any good offensive units all yea, and that's cause for concern no matter how you look at it with KC and LAC being as fast and versatile as they are. If only it were possible to get Hou/Indi lol.

My prediction is

Baltimore > SD
Indi > Houston
KC > Indi
NE > Baltimore (Not sure if I really believe this, but I'm going to keep telling myself I do)
KC > NE
Saints/Bears > KC

As terrible as it is, I just don't want Philly to win again, anyone but fucking Philly and I'll be able to stomach us not winning.

Andy Reid will find a way to fuck the Chiefs season up whether it’s in the first round or against the Patriots, book it.

Normally I'd agree with you, but I think Mahomes is good enough to overcome Reid's inability to perform in the playoffs. Only time will tell, but that team is stacked and even in NE they'd be a problem imo.
